Photoshop Marvel: Transforming the Image of a Girl into a Milk Figure
Creating a milk figure can be a great idea for an innovative milk ad campaign. The given Photoshop tutorial would brief you about the techniques to transform any image into a milk figure. All that you need to make this milk image are some photo manipulation tools, like transformation tool, burn tool, layer mask, and few stock images.

1.Step
Once you open the fie you choose, select only the part of the girl’s body, copy and paste it into a new layer (Layer 1).
2.Step
Create a new white layer under the Layer 1 and apply a mask as in the image.
3.Step
Open the splatter’s file and go to: Edit -> Free Transform (cmd+T(MAC), ctrl+T(PC)).
4.Step
Now modify the splatter going to: Edit -> Transform -> Warp.

Mask Layer 2 as in the image.

Now go on: Image -> Adjustments -> Hue/Saturation (cmd+U (MAC), ctrl+U (PC)).

Go to Layer 1 and mask to the parts where you want to add the splatters.

Repeat the same thing in steps (3, 4, 5, 6).

Now we must repeat the same process but under the Layer 1, creating a 3D effect.

With the Burn Tool to darken the interested parts, as in the image.

Repeat this step several times using other types of splatters.

Create a new Layer and bring it over to all. With the Brush Tool and white foreground to draw some lines as in the image.

Now change the Blending Mode from Normal to Overlay and set the Opacity to 40%.

Create a new Layer and bring it above the background level. Go to the Gradient Tool and select Radial Gradient. Go to Gradient Edit and set the values as in the image.

Select only the Layers shown in the figure and create a group (cmd+G (MAC), ctrl+G (PC)).

Create an additional Layer under the Group1 and with the Rectangular Marquee Tool to select the bottom of the image.

Select the Gradient Tool go to Linear Gradient and drag from top to bottom as in the image. After that deselect (cmd+D (MAC), ctrl+D (PC)).

Now go to: Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur and set the Radius to 5 pixels.

Change the Blending Mode from Normal to Overlay, duplicate the Layer and set the Opacity to 50%.

Create a new Layer, go to the Gradient Tool and select Radial Gradient. Go to Gradient Edit, sets the color from white to transparent and drag it behind the head of the girl, as in the image.

With the Elliptical Marquee Tool select the points where you want to create shade, filled with black and deselect. Then go to: Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur and set the Radius to 5 pixels.

Add a mask and cover the interested parts to make more realistic the shadows as in the image. Than change the Blending Mode from Normal to Multiply and set the Opacity to 80%.

With the Brush Tool and black foreground, create a new Layer and place them in the image of the point where the shadows is more intense. Set the Blending Mode and Opacity as before.

Now go to Group1 and with the right mouse button click on it, select Convert to Smart Object. Right-click again and select Rasterize Layer.

Go to: Image -> Adjustments -> Desaturate (cmd+shift+U (MAC), ctrl+shift+U (PC)), and desaturate the girl’s body. After adjusting with Levels and Curves to make it more similar to milk.

Now mask parts of the head where you want to enter the splatters.

Again, add the splatters as before. Mask and desaturate it.

Now create a new 3D effect with the splatters and the Burn Tool as in the image.

Once this is done, add a jet of milk that falls from to the top and integrate it with the image. As always, adding masks and setting Levels.

Create a new Layer and bring it above the level of the shadows. Repeat the process to create the shadows as in the image. The blur, however, must have a Radius of 10 pixels.

Now go to: Layer -> Flatten Image.

Duplicate a Layer.

Go to: Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur and set the Radius to 2 pixels.

Add a mask and cover the interested parts as in the image.

Create a new Layer and draw a few drops.

Now double click with the left mouse button on the drop’s level and follow these guidelines.

Now create a new Layer and fill it with blue. Change the Blending Mode from Normal to Color.
